More about Wigilia and more pictures at poloniaohio.com

Over 200 people participated in our 2005 Wigilia! We have never seen Eagles Hall decorated so tastefully and with such a Christmas spirit. Kudos for the Young's, the Klarenbach's, Luba, the Myszkowski's, Janice and everybody else who helped with this event. Thank you for Tomek and Wacek for live Christmas music and thank you Santa for stoping by!
Tables were full of traditional meatless dishes: pierogies with sauerkraut and mashrooms, salmon, greek fish, herring, beets, mashroom soup, tuna and egg salad, potato salad, poppyseed strudels, kutia and lamaniec, cheescake, babka, faworki and many more. Food was one of a kind and truly delicious, and ... there was plenty of it - thank you everybody!

Before the supper we have shared the Oplatek and exchanged Christmas wishes. It was great to see so many of the Club members showing up, having really good time and having opportunity to socialize with friends right before this very special time of the year - Christmas and New Year.
I have already heard that thanks to the great food and atmosphere people are already looking forward to the next Wigilia - this one was perfect and people loved it!
